Version support for the app – Defigo maintains apps for iOS & Android smartphones and tablets. Users with older phones can experience that some services, like video streaming, may not function optimally and that setting up a video call can take longer. The use of the app requires Internet access via mobile network, Wi-Fi or other. If your network is of low quality, it can lead to worse quality of video calls, and the setting up of the call can take longer. All costs connected to data traffic to/from the mobile phone are born by the users.
Defigo requires iOS version 13 or higher and Android version 10 or higher.
Support for Defigo Webadmin – Webadmin has been tested on the latest version of the search engine Chrome and is developed for use on PC or Mac. Other search engines will work too, but some features can deviate from their intended way of functioning.
The system is to be connected to a 230V current. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the availability of the necessary electrical output at the installation site.
The Defigo app is used to receive visitors through video, to open doors and to manage information. The customer and users can install apps on an unlimited number of devices.
You can use standard phones with DTMF (Dual-Tone Multi-Frequency) to receive visitors: the system will dial the phone number the user is registered with, and the user can press 5 or 8 to open the door. In order to be able to receive a visitor like a standard call, the user cannot be logged in to the app on other devices.
Settings: Depending on the policy chosen by the building’s administrator, the user can define the outer appearance of the doorbell. Doorbell settings can be adjusted on the doorbell panel the user is registered at.
Doorbells: Defigo has four different types of doorbells: Separate doorbell, Sequential doorbell (can be configured only by the apartment/corporation’s administrator), Parallel doorbell (can be configured only by the apartment/corporation’s administrator), Family/business mode.
Text: Users can choose themselves what text should be displayed on the doorbell. In the event of the use of offensive text on the doorbell, the administrator can choose to remove the user from the doorbell panel.
Picture: If the administrator has allowed the use of pictures within the building, the user can add an image on their doorbell.
Change of ringtone: Users can select ringtones in the app.
Concealment of the doorbell: Users can conceal the doorbell on the doorbell panel or determine a timespan during which the doorbell will be concealed/visible automatically.
Video call: Users that use the Defigo app or Defigo tablet will be able to receive a video stream of visitors standing by the door.
Switching off the video: Users can choose to switch off the video and use the app to only converse.
Access through Defigo app: All the doors the user has access to are shown in the app. The user can transparently see which system the doors are connected to. The user can open doors by pressing the door icon.
Use of access card: Defigo supports miFair: The user can connect an access card to the building, which will then open all doors the user has access to.
Access card management: Users can add their own cards for a building as long as the building’s administrator has allowed it. Users will be able to deactivate/activate their own access cards if they happen to lose them. Administrators can allocate access cards to users via WebAdmin.
Personal information: The users manage their personal information themselves directly in the app.
Defigo Webadmin: Used by the building’s administrator for management of users and other settings. Administrators have access to their buildings directly in Webadmin.
Management of access cards is done directly in the Defigo app by the administrator. Administrators have access to a separate menu where they can remove users from the building.
Unit owner: Decides which type of doorbell is to be used for the unit per staircase.
